Coastal Colours
Coastal Colours is a series of abstract paintings inspired by the timeless beauty and ever-changing character of the ocean. Each work captures a fleeting encounter with the coastal landscape, where sea, sand, and sky dissolve into one another through shifting colour, movement, and atmosphere.
Deeply drawn to the ocean, I find endless inspiration in its contrasts—the energy of crashing waves alongside the stillness of the shore, the softness of sand, and the subtle transformation of colour throughout the day and across the seasons.
Through abstraction, I seek not to depict a particular coastline, but to evoke the sensation of being there: the rhythm of the water, the vastness of the horizon, and the quiet sense of connection the sea inspires. Each painting is an exploration of dynamism and tranquility, translating a moment of observation into layers of colour, texture, and movement.
Coastal Colours is ultimately a collection of fleeting impressions—an invitation to pause, breathe, and experience the ocean through colour and emotion.
