Crochet
Crochet has been part of my creative practice since childhood, a skill I inherited through the traditions and knowledge passed down by the women in my family. What began as a familiar domestic craft has evolved into a meaningful and contemplative form of creative expression.
I approach crochet as both a meditative and therapeutic process, allowing repetition, rhythm, and touch to become part of the making experience. Many of my works are created as heartfelt gifts for family and friends, carrying with them a sense of intimacy, care, and personal connection. Through this practice, I continue to explore the relationship between craft, memory, generosity, and the quiet act of making by hand.
